Haylie Duff grew up as part of a famous family, but she’s since started a brood of her own.
Along with being Hilary Duff’s older sister, Haylie has seen her own dose of fame over the years. She’s had a successful acting and singing career that has spanned nearly two decades. For a bulk of her time in the spotlight, Haylie had longtime partner Matt Rosenberg by her side.
Haylie started dating Rosenberg in 2012, and they got engaged two years later. While they were together for a total of 14 years, Haylie and Rosenberg never married. Throughout their relationship, the former couple welcomed two daughters: Ryan and Lulu.
“We didn’t plan to not get married, we just have been busy having kids and filming shows and him working,” Haylie said during a 2021 interview with Access Hollywood. “Life kind of got away from us, to be perfectly honest.”
News broke in April 2026 that Haylie and Rosenberg had split following their 12-year engagement.
A rep for Haylie confirmed the breakup to TMZ, revealing that they had split in early 2026. Haylie asked for privacy at the time to protect the pair’s daughters.

Haylie Duff was born to Susan and Robert Duff in February 1985. Susan was a movie producer who often worked alongside her daughters on several of their films. Robert, meanwhile, owned a chain of convenience stores in Texas with Haylie’s grandfather.
