Police are investigating after a body was found in Brisbane’s inner-city.
Officers received reports a person had been found unresponsive at a building on Lambert Street in Kangaroo Point just after 11.50am on Friday.
They were declared dead when emergency teams arrived at the scene.
Shortly before 1pm police declared a crime scene, cordoning off an area including the building, a worksite, and a council garbage truck.
Shortly after 3pm, forensic officers entered the building’s car park.
“Investigations into the circumstances around the sudden death remain ongoing,” a statement from police said.
Dozens of crews remained at the scene on Friday afternoon, with officers speaking to residents on the street.
