Jack Osbourne offered an update on sister Kelly Osbourne while navigating the death of their father, Ozzy Osbourne, and her split from Sid Wilson.
Jack, 40, told The Sun in a recent interview that Kelly, 41, is “living her country life, and she’s just doing her thing, being a mum.” He also revealed Kelly is “in a happier place and she’s got a good routine going.”
“She’s focusing on her and her son,” Jack said. (Kelly and Wilson, 49, welcomed son Sidney in November 2022.)
News broke in March that Kelly and Wilson, 49, ended their engagement. The pair were friends for more than two decades before they started dating in early 2022.
“After 23 years of friendship, I can’t believe where we have ended up,” Kelly wrote via Instagram on Valentine’s Day at the time. “You are my best friend, my soulmate, and I am so deeply in love with you, Sidney George Wilson.”
After expanding their family, Kelly reflected on the next chapter of their relationship, telling Us in October 2024, “I found my guy. We don’t need the certificate, but I know Sid really wants to get married, so we will get married.”
She added: “It’s not as important to me. I’ve worn so many beautiful dresses and had so many moments that have been just about me, so that whole idea of a big day isn’t as important to me.”
Wilson proposed in July 2025 at her dad Ozzy’s final Black Sabbath concert. Ozzy died that same month at age 76. One month later, a death certificate obtained by The Sun revealed that the singer died from cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease.
“It’s been the hardest year of my life,” Kelly shared in an interview with Hello! published on Monday, August 31. “I’ll never be the person I was before my father died … a part of me died, too.”
She continued: “Everything is different. I’m different. Everything has changed, but it’s just taking it one day at a time and putting the pieces back together in a way that you think will work.”
Kelly said her new outlook has been about putting “one foot in front of the other.”
“You’ve got to fix the head before you can fix the body. It’s a slow process,” she said. “It’s going to take me a minute. I’m not going to be fixed in a day. I’m not going to be fixed on one therapy session. This is a lifetime of work I’ve got to do and continue to do for the rest of my life.”
She concluded: “It’s great discovering things about yourself [in therapy], and the reasons why I do certain things that stem from my childhood. You go all the way back and you’re like: ‘Oh, my God, that’s why I do that. That’s crazy.’ I’m getting to know myself in a whole new way, but it’s a lot more healthy, I can tell you that.”
