Celebrities have shared heartfelt tributes in honor of Cindy Crawford‘s son, Presley Gerber, who died suddenly at age 27.
News broke on Sunday, September 20, that Crawford and husband Rande Gerber‘s son died in a rehab facility. A cause of death has yet to be revealed. (An autopsy was scheduled for Monday, September 21.)
“The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” Presley’s loved ones noted in a statement to Us.
Before his death, Presley often spoke about his battle with substance abuse and other mental health challenges.
“Having struggled with mental health, depression and some other things that come along with that, I think that whether I help one person or a hundred people get out of that place that I was in at one point in my life, that’s all I need to do,” he said during a 2023 appearance on the “Studio 22” podcast.
Presley added: “It’s a huge part of my life. It’s a 24/7 job and there’s so much to it. That’s what I really want to do — help people get out of whether you’re depressed [or] struggling with something that’s having a negative effect on your body. … What I hope I can do is have made the mistakes for some other people, so they don’t have to make the same mistakes that I made.”

“I’m completely heartbroken. I still can’t believe this is real,” Hilton wrote via her Instagram Stories. “You were such a beautiful soul. So sweet, sensitive, kind and genuine. I cared about you so much, and I’m going to miss you more than words can say.”
Hilton noted how she would “cherish the memories” that she made with Presley over the years.
“You had such a gentle heart and there was something so special about you that anyone who was lucky enough to know you could feel,” she continued. “I hope you knew how deeply loved you were and how many people cared about you. My heart is with your entire family during this unimaginable time. Rest in peace, my friend. Love you forever. You will be so deeply missed.”

David and Victoria Beckham’s son shared a tribute via social media, writing, “Presley you were the kindest and we are going to miss you so much. We love you.”

He was always open about his struggles because he knew it would help others and IT DID.”
Kennedy continued, “I always felt a close bond with you Presley, I wish we got to spend more time together. Watching your parents love you the way they did was beautiful, I’m heartbroken for them and your whole family.
