A green bridge connecting South Brisbane to the city was shut down by police for more than two hours on Wednesday morning, forcing cyclists, joggers and walkers to take the long way into the city.
Emergency services were called to the Kurilpa Bridge just before 6.20am.
The bridge connects South Brisbane near the Gallery of Modern Art to Tank Street in the city.
The bridge was re-opened by 8.45am.
