Lindsay Clancy juror was Karen Read super-fan, resurfaced social posts reveal

A female juror who voted to find Lindsay Clancy not criminally responsible for killing her three children was apparently an avid supporter of another woman at the center of a bombshell Massachusetts murder trial — Karen Read.

Newly resurfaced Facebook posts allegedly authored by Kellie Farina – a decider in Clancy’s weeks-long trial that ended in a hung jury on Friday – suggest that she threw her full weight behind Read during her high-profile trial last year.

Farina, a senior center chef who belonged to an online group called “Free Karen Read,” frequently opined on the court proceedings in which Read was accused of killing her Boston cop boyfriend, John O’Keefe, in 2022, the Daily Mail first reported Wednesday.

“Over and Out Page. Massachusetts Jury did their rightful duty today. Karen’s free,” Farina reportedly wrote on Facebook after Read was acquitted of charges including second-degree murder, manslaughter while operating under the influence and leaving the scene of a collision resulting in death.

Read, who was accused of mowing O’Keefe down with her SUV after dropping him off at his cop pal’s house following a night of heavy drinking, argued that she was framed by her slain boyfriend’s cop friends for the crime.

After Read’s first trial ended in a hung jury in 2024, she was retried but acquitted of all charges after jurors decided there were too many issues with cops’ investigation in the case.

At the time, Farina also expressed rage against disgraced ex-state trooper Michael Proctor – who served as the lead investigator in O’Keefe’s death before it was revealed in court that he had sent his pals a string of derogatory text messages about Read – writing in one post that he was a “POS.”

The supposed Read superfan also blasted Norfolk County Special Prosecutor Hank Brennan, who led the commonwealth’s case against Read, as a “freaking joke,” another post shows.

Farina was later selected as a juror in Clancy’s triple-murder trial.

After five weeks of testimony, Farina was convinced that Clancy – who fatally strangled Cora, 5; Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, before trying to take her own life in January 2023 – was not guilty by reason of insanity, she told NBC News 10 Boston Wednesday.

Defense lawyer Kevin Reddington argued that the mother was in the throes of postpartum psychosis, worsened by a myriad of prescription medications, which prompted hallucinations and a man’s voice inside her head instructing Clancy to kill the children and herself.

Prosecutors countered that the former labor and delivery nurse had carefully planned the killings and made up that she had experienced a psychotic break in an effort to avoid criminal culpability.

Judge William Sullivan was ultimately forced to declare a mistrial after a lone male holdout among the jurors refused to side with the defense, even after 38 hours of deliberation across seven days.

On Wednesday, Reddington – who has since asked President Trump to consider pardoning his controversial client – revealed the harrowing plea Clancy is now saying “constantly.”

“I want my babies. I want my babies,” the mom has been repeating, Reddington told NBC News reporter Laura Jarrett.

Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz’s office has not announced how they will proceed with the case and whether it will retry Clancy on the same charges, downgrade the charges, seek a plea deal with her or drop the case altogether.

The Post reached out to Farina, but didn’t immediately hear back.
