Perth father hospitalised in Bali after ‘brutal’ group attack

A Perth father is in intensive care at a Bali hospital after being attacked by a “group of Australians” while on holiday at the popular Indonesian tourist island.

Liam Dougan has started a fundraiser for his father, Paul, who has undergone three surgeries, including to have his spleen removed, after the attack.

In the fundraiser, Liam wrote his father was “brutally assaulted by a group of Australians who are yet to be identified”.

“They beat and kicked him multiple times putting him in a life threatening condition,” Liam wrote in the fundraiser, which was created on Wednesday.
