Perth is being warned to brace for a storm this morning, with up to 60 millimetres of rain tipped to fall throughout the day.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a storm advice for the Perth metropolitan South West, and lower South West areas.
Location expected to be affected include Bunbury, Mandurah, Collie, Harvey, Dwellingup and Pinjarra.
The cause of the wet weather is a slow-moving cold front which is expected to produce persistent rain and thunderstorms for coastal areas and parts of the hills from this morning.
Flash flooding is possible with rainfall totals between 30 and 60 millimetres expects, with localised flooding of up to 70 millimetres.
