Second heartless crook wanted for robbing Boston children’s lemonade stand pictured by cops

Boston cops have released photos of a second suspect wanted in the armed robbery of a kid’s lemonade stand that rattled the community last month.

The still-at-large suspect can be seen walking around shirtless, wearing black pants and carrying a black backpack after the June 10 stickup.

David Byrne, 12, and his 11-year-old sister Juliette were selling lemonade on the sidewalk near their home on West Ninth Street in South Boston when two male juvenile suspects passed by several times before walking up to their stand.

The alleged bandits asked the siblings if they accepted Apple Pay and before the Byrne children could respond, one of the thieves flashed a black firearm tucked into his waistband, according to the Boston Police Department.

The other young thief snatched the siblings’ cash box — which contained around $50 — before the pair bolted.

A 14-year-old boy was arrested two after the theft and slapped with two counts of armed robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm.

“I just was like a little annoyed because we were 12 and 11 and you shouldn’t really do that,” David told the outlet of the robbery.

The siblings’ father, Dave Byrne said “it’s outrageous that in such a good community that we can have something like this happen,” and pleaded for a greater presence around the neighborhood to prevent a similar incident from taking place.

Following the robbery, the South Boston community rallied around the siblings, who reopened their lemonade stand two days later and were met with large crowds of people — including Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and City Councilor Ed Flynn, the outlet reported.

According to City Councilor Flynn, half the profits made from the re-opened lemonade stand will be donated to a local gun violence prevention organization.

“I never thought this many people would come,” Juliette said. “It really makes me feel happy.”
