Texas judge berates IT worker who helped him with computer glitch in viral clip: ‘Get out of my courtroom’

A Texas judge was caught on camera tearing into an IT worker who came to help him with a simple computer glitch inside his own courtroom.

A viral video shows Harris County Judge Nathan Milliron losing his cool with the worker in a tense exchange over what appeared to be an audio problem.

“You don’t have to go too far,” the IT worker tells the judge as he gets up from the bench. “You just joined from your audio here, right?”

Watch this IT guy handle a tech issue for an arrogant judge.

Then watch Karen the judge turn on him and threaten his job.

🤡:”Thanks. Get out of my courtroom…”

🤡: “Find his supervisor!” *torrent of profanity*

I wonder if he takes his bad day out on the public, too? pic.twitter.com/ZlrDV6Etjz

“Yes,” Milliron replies.

Moments later, the worker said everything was good before the judge returned to the bench.

“False alarm,” the worker tells the judge.

“No, it wasn’t a false alarm,” Milliron snapped.

The IT technician smirked and giggled, quipping “false negative” to make light of the situation.

However, the innocent comment appeared to infuriate Milliron, who told him the issue was nothing to “joke around” about.

“I’m serious about this. It was happening,” the judge said, as he sat down and raised his hands to shut down any further discussion.

“We’re good. Thank you. Get out of my courtroom,” the judge sternly ordered the worker.

However, moments after the technician left, a visibly frustrated Milliron told someone off camera to “find his supervisor.”

“Jesus Christ. I’m sick and tired of this bulls–t today,” he said in the viral clip.

The video, which has garnered over 3 million views across X and Instagram, has outraged viewers at how the judge treated the IT technician, who was just trying to do his job and help him.

“He was polite, respectful and just trying to keep the conversation light. How is it his fault the judge is not computer savvy [sic],” one user wrote on Instagram.

“Zero humility as a judge is a bad sign,” another commented.

“But I’m sure every person in his court gets a fair chance,” sarcastically wrote another user.

Milliron has served on the bench in the 215th District Court since January 2025, ABC13 reported.

Harris County District Court Administration confirmed the technician is a court employee, with several judges speaking off camera telling the outlet he is a helpful, well-liked worker who always does a great job assisting people in the building.

While his conduct sparked a storm of backlash, his status as an elected judge shields Milliron from disciplinary action by local court administrators.

However, Judge Rabeea Collier, the civil court’s administrative judge, released a statement to ABC13 on Monday. Collier said the “Civil Trial Division is committed to maintaining a workplace grounded in respect and to upholding the integrity of the judicial process.”

“We are aware of the concerns raised regarding recent widely circulated footage involving a member of our Civil Division. The conduct of everyone serving in the judicial system must reflect the professionalism, respect, and impartiality that the public rightly expects,” Collier said.

“While it would be inappropriate to comment on specific matters that may be subject to review, I want to assure the public that we take these concerns seriously.”

Collier noted that formal processes are in place to address judicial conduct issues, while stressing that the civil division’s priority remains to serve the community with dignity and respect.
