It really is the most magical place on earth — at least for a limited time.
Disney just announced that Disney+ streaming subscribers can save up to 25% on a Disney World vacation and get a free ticket upgrade on stays from late September through Christmas.
The 4-night stay ticket package is available only to Disney+ Perks members, who can save on rooms on select dates within the allotted window. This room-only discount also includes the option to upgrade to a free Park Hopper ticket when booking as a package.
There are restrictions, too.
Disney+ subscribers must stay in the room, meaning someone can’t book on your behalf. Additional per-adult charges may apply if more than 2 adults per room, with a maximum stay of 14 days, according to the deal.
The offer excludes certain room types like the 3-Bedroom Villas; Club Level rooms at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House; Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge; and Bungalows and Penthouses at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
And if you’re wishing on a star for greater options to save, this isn’t the only discount for these travel dates. The amusement park is also offering 20% off, with discounts of up to 25% for Florida residents and up to 30% for Annual Passholders.
The quick break comes amid record costs for the Mickey Mouse theme park.
The Post previously reported Walt Disney World in Orlando planned to charge $219 per person for a one-day park ticket through October 2027, with the steep cost also applying for certain big weekends like Presidents’ Day.
Ticket prices for The Magic Kingdom, where Cinderella’s iconic castle resides, typically demand the highest ticket prices, while the Animal Kingdom is the least expensive, followed by Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
Even with rising costs, Disney says it’s still determined to keep prices accessible for avid guests, offering a variety of packages and deals.
Disney blogs recommend consulting with services like Be Our Guest Vacations, a no-fee Authorized Disney Vacation Planner that can help families determine the best price and quote option for their preferred travel dates.
On top of the ticket prices, many Anaheim park diehards lamented the loss of the beloved “Lightning Lane” perk, which gave hotel guests early entry to the park before regular ticket holders.
The Post previously reported that the draw that allowed guests free rein before long lines formed was a major incentive for guests to book stays at pricey on-site hotels rather than more affordable options elsewhere.
Online, fans question whether the price increase will be enough to keep people from returning altogether, given the high barrier to entry.
“I’ve reached a point with my family where we just started looking for alternatives and I don’t even really want to go back because it has soured enjoying the parks,” wrote one disgruntled park-goer on Reddit. “It should not be cheaper for my family to go to Japan and visit the parks there than it is go fly to Florida and stay on the resort for a week.”
While some argue that the price increase is actually a good thing to help control the lines, it still dims the spark, but doesn’t necessarily deter the crowds.
