The hottest World Cup WAGS taking social media by storm with millions of followers and massive brand deals

Step aside, fellas — all eyes are on the World Cup ladies.

As the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off on American soil for the first time in 32 years, the wives and girlfriends of soccer’s biggest names are commanding attention — not just for their supermodel looks or glam style, but because they’ve become businesses and brands in their own right.

Once a tabloid shorthand for footballers’ wives and girlfriends, especially in the British press of the early 2000s, an era largely marked by Victoria Beckham, WAG culture has since evolved into something more powerful and lucrative.

The rise of social media sparked a cultural shift in the WAG community, and today, these high-profile ladies operate more as global influencers making big bucks through brand deals and sponsorships, rather than athlete arm candy, with many surpassing their partners in terms of online visibility.

After analyzing Instagram, Google and TikTok data, a new study by Classic Football Shirts, the world’s leading football shirt retailer, revealed which glamorous partners are capturing the most online attention.

The ranking comes at a time when the rise of “WAGcore,” a TikTok aesthetic that mixes hyper-feminine Y2K staples — velour tracksuits, oversized sunglasses, big blowouts, and designer bags with sporty pieces like football jerseys — is drawing millions of views and searches on social media.

“#wagaesthetic has over 1.7 million TikTok views to date, as what was once a fairly narrow media stereotype in the UK has evolved into a global influencer economy, fashion ecosystem, and branding platform,” said a representative for the retailer.

Below are the most influential WAGS on the arms of some of the World Cup’s biggest stars.

Ester Expósito

At the top of the list is Ester Expósito, the Spanish actress best known for Netflix’s “Élite” and girlfriend of French star Kylian Mbappé. The pair were first spotted together in early 2026, but she had already been in the public eye.

The 26-year-old posts a mix of red-carpet glam shots, behind-the-scenes stills, and the occasional everyday life to her 24.2 million Instagram followers.

The blonde-haired beauty is averaging 299,000 monthly TikTok searches, even with only a few videos on her account. Her handful of videos have racked up millions of views and offer viewers a more raw, slightly less curated peek into her life.

Her acting career has helped her build an estimated net worth of $6 million, which also includes prominent brand ambassadorships with Desigual, L’Oréal Paris, and luxury jewelry house Bulgari.

With a U.S. search interest up 72% year over year, according to the survey, Expósito represents the new crossover WAG: already famous, already fashionable, and now attached to one of the tournament’s biggest stars.

Georgina Rodríguez

Georgina Rodríguez, Cristiano Ronaldo’s fiancée and arguably the blueprint for the modern WAG economy, follows.

At 32 years old, the Spanish-Argentine model, entrepreneur, and reality TV star has amassed 73.2 million Instagram followers and 810,000 average monthly TikTok searches, making her the most-followed woman on the ranking by far.

The pair has been linked since 2016 and has four children together, but only got engaged in August 2025 after 8 years together, during which the internet went nuts over the size of her estimated 37-karat ring.

Soccer star fiancé aside, Rodriguez has a net worth estimated at around $10 million, mainly from longtime partnerships with Chopard, L’Oréal, Charlotte Tilbury, and Aroya Cruises.

As a former Gucci sales assistant turned Netflix reality star in 2022 with her show “I Am Georgina,” which portrayed a more intimate look at her life as an entrepreneur, global influencer, and partner to one of the biggest soccer stars in the world — she has turned proximity to soccer royalty into a luxury lifestyle empire.

Bruna Biancardi

Bruna Biancardi, partner of Brazil’s Neymar, ranked third.

The 32-year-old is a Brazilian model and mother of three whose Instagram page shows glossy fashion shoots and magazine covers mixed with video content from her digital cooking show, and, of course, photos of Neymar and their children.

Despite the couple’s on-again, off-again relationship, Biancardi has built a career for herself modeling for luxury brands like Louis Vuitton and Balmain.

Antonela Roccuzzo

Coming in at No. 4 is Antonela Roccuzzo, who has 39.3 million Instagram followers and has long cultivated a quieter, more understated public image than some of her counterparts — proof that influence does not always require maximal exposure.

The 38-year-old mother of three has been in the public eye alongside Argentina superstar Lionel Messi for over 20 years, as the pair are childhood sweethearts who first met when they were only 9 years old in Argentina and finally tied the knot in 2017.

Since then, the WAG has graced the covers of magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, collaborated with brands such as Tiffany & Co., and earned an estimated net worth of $20 million through brand deals with Adidas, Alo Yoga, Stella McCartney, and Louis Vuitton. She is also the global brand ambassador for the makeup brand Anastasia Beverly Hills.

Roccuzzo’s social content is filled with tons of gym selfies and, of course, photos of her three sons and Messi happily cheesing it up.

Isabel Haugseng Johansen

Isabel Haugseng Johansen, partner of Norway’s Erling Haaland, ranked fifth with searches up 119% year over year.

Johansen is not only dating a soccer player — she is one.

Growing up in the same town as Haaland, she became known as one of Bryne FK’s MVPs, scoring 23 goals in 36 appearances, according to Yahoo!

The duo remained friends for years before finally dating and are now parents to a young son.

The 21-year-old’s social media content resonates more with everyday influencer content — posing with friends, get-ready-with-me videos, outfit checks, and, of course, cheering up on her soccer-playing beau in the stands.

Sara Arfaoui

Sara Arfaoui, the 31-year-old wife of Germany’s İlkay Gündoğan, ranked sixth with a 147% increase in search growth.

Though she already had a fan base of her own as an Italian model, television presenter, and actress, with her Instagram content ranging from curated photo shoots for luxe brands like YSL to more relaxed posts showing her children and her recent pregnancy.

Tolami Benson

Tolami Benson, fiancée of England’s Bukayo Saka, came in seventh and has become a fashion favorite for her glam take on game-day dressing in iconic WAG style, but with a Gen Z twist.

The 25-year-old posts a mix of glam shots, outfit photos decked in designer, supportive WAG sports content, and plenty of photos with her adorable dog.

Her estimated net worth is around $500,000 and is represented by Untitled Entertainment, a high-profile talent agency.

Naima Corbin

Perhaps the most telling entry is Naima Corbin, wife of England’s Eberechi Eze.

The 27-year-old is the long-time partner of the football star. According to reports, she and Eze met in South East London when they were 15 and have been childhood sweethearts ever since.

Despite having a private Instagram account and just 595 followers, she ranked 18th after seeing search growth soar 3,100%. In the age of oversharing, mystery may be its own kind of influence.
