Three people have died and two are in a critical condition following a crash south of Brisbane in which two cars rolled over, with one catching fire.
Emergency services responded to reports of the two-car collision on Waterford Tamborine Road in Logan Village about 4.30pm on Saturday.
A single driver was in one vehicle, while the other carried five people, including a child.
Paramedics assessed three people with life-threatening injuries who later died at the scene.
Two adults, one with significant chest and facial injuries, were taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital. A child was also rushed to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
A spokesperson for Metro South confirmed a woman remained in a critical condition on Sunday, while a man was in a critical but stable condition.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or vision of the crash to come forward.
