Two Bronx teenagers were stabbed in a broad daylight scuffle around the corner from a middle school — with the slasher still on the loose, law enforcement sources said.
Both teens were listed in stable condition at St. Barnabas Hospital following the 2:50 p.m. attack at a Sedgewick Avenue deli near the New School for Leadership and the Arts, the sources said.
One victim, 14, was stabbed in the chest, while a 16-year-old was stabbed in the face, the sources said.
Police have not released details of the incident and it is unclear what sparked the violence.
The incident comes just days after a 13-year-old Brooklyn student stabbed a school safety agent who was trying to break up a brawl on campus, police said.
