A 29-year-old Manhattan man who was pictured with a sharp tool sticking out of his back after being knifed in an East Harlem scuffle now fears he may not walk again, neighbors told The Post.
The unidentified victim was wounded after getting into a beef with a pair of thugs on a 125th Street subway platform on Tuesday afternoon.
A shocking photo captured the aftermath of the attack — the weapon protruding from his upper back while he sat calmly in an EMS wheelchair at the scene.
On Wednesday, his family and neighbors said the victim is now hospitalized in stable condition.
He was stabbed by two different objects, with the wounds requiring four stitches.
The injury has left his legs numb and tingling — and he still couldn’t feel or move them on Wednesday.
“I can tell you that he might not be able to walk,” one relative said. “That I can tell you.”
Both of his attackers, who wore masks during the assault, remain on the loose.
Police and sources said the victim was on the southbound No. 4 platform at the 125th Street and Lexington Avenue station around 1:20 p.m. when one of the brutes bumped into him, sparking a dispute that turned violent and led to the stabbing.
