A woman recalled a chilling encounter she had with a notorious pornographer and his felon son over a decade ago inside their Philadelphia house of horrors that’s since been linked to several missing women.
The woman said she met Raymond “R.C.” Horsch and his son, Eugene, during a rough patch in her life in 2012 while she was homeless and using drugs — and immediately recognized the pair when the story broke about the Olney home that detectives have since connected to seven missing or unidentified women, WPVI reported.
“When I saw this story break, I was like, ‘Oh my God, I know who that is,” the woman, who was not identified, recalled.
She met the father-son duo in Camden, New Jersey, and returned with them to their house. After she started using drugs, she blacked out and terrifyingly woke up to now-dead pervert R.C. Horsch — who wrote a vile book called the “Memoir of an Empathetic Serial Killer” — standing above her and taking photos.
“I was terrified. I thought he was going to, him and his son Eugene, I thought they were going to kill me,” the woman said.
Despite her state of mind, she fled for her life from the Chew Avenue residence — but the torment continued when Eugene threatened her again in Camden weeks later.
“Eugene was like, ‘You know I can kill you right and nobody would ever find you,” she said of the encounter.
The woman, now sober for a decade, said other women in the area would warn one another about a man they referred to by his one eye.
“We would say, ‘The one-eyed guy, don’t go with him.’ Girls would go missing; we’d be like, ‘Do you think it’s him or the other guy?’”
After R.C. Horsch tried to abduct a 9-year-old girl in 2009, but was caught, investigators discovered an eye patch — as well as binoculars, camera gear and a condom — inside his car.
The unidentified woman has since spoken with Philadelphia detectives and learned her image was in the twisted trove of over a million files, including snuff movies, found in the house of horrors.
“They were interested in what Eugene said when he threatened me, and if I thought other girls had been out there. I spoke to one girl’s mom, Gabby’s mom,” she said, referring to the mother of Gabrielle Amarando.
She also said she has provided names of the women she fears are gone and could be connected to the investigation, which began in June after authorities uncovered a bizarre and twisted scene, including a stockpile of dangerous chemicals, weapons, and writings referencing serial killers inside the home.
“A lot of us are afraid to come forward, but I’m only doing it so the other girls have a chance of getting some type of justice from this,” she said.
Cops revealed they found images and video of two women — Maribel Frieses, who was last seen in 2018, and Amarando, last seen in 2012 — that appeared to show them deceased.
Blair Tonzelli, who vanished in 2023, and Amy McHale, Horsch’s ex-wife who was last seen in 2016, have also been named by the authorities.
McHale’s family said her last known location was the home where Horsch and his son lived.
“Something happened to her in that house,” McHale’s mom, Gloria, said.
R.C. Horsch died last year and is believed to be one of five urns investigators pulled from the dilapidated brick home.
Eugene Horsch is being held on firearms charges as authorities continue to probe the missing and unidentified women.
