The last time a deal was struck involving a Sydney mayoralty – at least as far as we can recall – it ended up in front of the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption – although we’re not suggesting any wrongdoing in this case.
But it looks like not even the shenanigans of Strathfield Council as featured in Operation Rosny were enough of a warning for a clutch of councillors at Woollahra Council.
