Teen Mom alum Jenelle Evans is speaking out after a recent 911 call she placed regarding ex David Eason surfaced online.
“I would like to say that the officers did not help me at all that day,” Evans, 34, exclusively claimed to Us on Wednesday, September 16. “I did have a copy of the no-contact order and did provide it to the police because it’s always saved by email on my phone. A detective called me and even came to my house the next day to get statements about what happened that day, but they didn’t end up pressing charges.”
Earlier this week, The Ashley’s Reality Roundup obtained a 911 call made by Evans in the early morning hours of August 18 asking that a sheriff’s department in Florida send a “police escort” to her home.
“I have my ex-boyfriend here, and he was here ‘coparenting’ with me,” Evans said in the call. “Now, um, we got into a little bit of an argument. And I told him, I said, ‘You need to get out. Move out. My [name] is on the lease.’”
The former MTV reality star continued, “He’s trying to say, ‘Oh, this is mine, this is mine.’ We just got divorced recently. Everything has been settled in court already.”
Later in the call, Evans said she “didn’t hesitate” to dial 911 because of her “history with him and how things can escalate even worse than this.”
“I didn’t want it to escalate,” she claimed. “[I was] like, ‘Stop it right now, and you need to get out.’”
When asked about the newly surfaced 911 call, Evans told Us on Wednesday, “I will be looking to extend my no-contact order. I do take accountability to a certain extent, allowing him back in my life, but at some point, you have to grow up.”
Eason also released a statement to Us on Wednesday that stated, “My purpose in life has nothing to do with defending myself. I would rather offend the public, which is why I just recorded three new songs that will give everyone more of a idea of how much I actually care what they think! My new song ‘Still David’ will give everyone more insight on how much I care what anyone thinks. Coming soon to all platforms!”
Evans filed for separation from Eason in March 2024 after six years of marriage. In July 2025, a judge agreed to grant Evans’ motion for an “absolute divorce.”
In recent months, the pair raised eyebrows after they were caught spending time together on multiple occasions. Evans, however, maintained that it was just two adults coparenting their 9-year-old daughter, Ensley.
In a September 9 TikTok video, Evans acknowledged that her fans were concerned about her giving Eason another chance since she has taken legal action against him in the past.
“Everything was nice at first, [he was] very sweet and caring,” Evans said. “He was trying to hold my hand and touch me a lot. That all went away within a month.”
She continued, “I’m always a believer in second chances, unfortunately. I do that with my exes. That’s my track record. Everybody knows that. This time, at least it only took a few months to see the dramatic change in his behavior. Ladies, don’t put up with that.”
