You can win famed dad’s car from ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ as 40th anniversary nears

If you’ve spent the last 40 years wishing you could cut school, borrow a high-end sports car, and race through the streets of Chicago, your fantasy might be within arm’s reach.

Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel is teaming up with Paramount Pictures for a massive double-whammy celebration.

Both the casino and the iconic 1986 John Hughes comedy “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” are turning 40 this summer, and celebrating the milestone by giving away a replica of one of the most famous cars in the history of film.

From June 1 through June 25, Club Serrano members can try their luck at winning a Ferrari-inspired replica of Cameron Frye’s dad’s legendary sports car: a red Modena Spyder Convertible.

Unlike the movie, where the pristine red convertible met a tragic, window smashing demise at the bottom of a ravine after Cameron kicked it in a fit of rage, this one is ready to hit the road.

The winner will be selected at a finale event on June 25 at the Overlook Bar on the second floor of the Highland casino.
