We all have embarrassing moments, and some may feel petrified to talk about them publicly, but there is one girl who takes the cake for wearing her embarrassing moment with stride.
Perrie Sian is a prominent UK fashion and beauty content creator, entrepreneur, and podcast host who recently posted a video that gained the attention of over 12 million people.
The video shows Sian trying on a dress in her walk-in wardrobe, calling out to her boyfriend, Ricci Mandal, “What do you think?,” before the incident occurred.
Sian leaned down to get something, but instead, she sharted in her dress before running to the bathroom.
A shart is a slang term defined as an accidental expulsion of fecal matter when a person attempts to pass intestinal gas.
In short, it is when someone farts, but then faeces comes out as well.
The video was captioned “I’m exposing myself here but sorry this was too funny not to post. This is the stuff that you catch when you film yourself 24/7.”
Sian, who is known for her relatable style hauls and high-street fashion curation, has built a multi-million-follower community across Instagram and TikTok.
While the video exploded overnight, with over one million likes, many of her followers chimed in with their thoughts.
Despite Sian’s shocking reaction, many couldn’t help but laugh at the scenario.
“This gets funnier and funnier every time it replays,” someone commented with the laughing emoji.
“Tears coming out of my eyes; this is so funny,” a second commented.
“I cannot tell you how many times I’ve watched this,” a third joked.
“The waddle to the bathroom and the feet slapping the floor like a platypus is killing me,” echoed a fourth.
Others were making statements about how it is normal for such a thing to occur, and that it shouldn’t be a taboo topic.
“Let’s normalise sharting,” one person commented.
“Dw girl. I had Covid and the flu at the same time, trusted a fart in my bed and the next day had to walk 5 km with sh*tty bedding to the closest laundromat while so sick I couldn’t see,” another person shared.

Sian chimed in the comments as well, justifying the act with the fact that everyone has sharted at some point.
A lot of users were surprised and shocked that Sian would even post this video on the internet.

Many people were more concerned with the state of Sian’s dress, at first wondering if the sound was the dress ripping.
